HARIBO Academy

HARIBO have become a partner of the BBM Cycling For All Project and have a key focus in supporting the HARIBO Academy, which is an essential step in the BBM Performance Pathway. The Academy will support a squad of talented junior riders who will focus on the National Junior Road Race Series whilst honing their skills in local domestic road and mtb events in addition to selected track events throughout the season.

As the squad are at the Elite Performance with Sportscover Altura RT, they will race in the black and yellow colours of Sportscover Altura RT that have become synonymous with legends of the sport such as John Tanner.

Riders selected for 2012 are:

Joe Moses (17) based in Keighley - Member of the Great Britain Cyclo-Cross Team

Ashley Procter (17) based in Sheffield - Winner of a number of Yorkshire races in 2011

Oliver Wood (16) based in Wakefield - Member of the Great Britain Olympic Development Programme, National Track Champion (Scratch Race), Overall Winner of the 2011 National Circuit Race Series

Jake Womersley (16) based in Mirfield - Former Great Britain Talent Team Rider 2010/11 Under 16 National Cyclo-Cross Series winner and North of England Cyclo-Cross champion
