BBM Bikes is a newly formed bike shop founded in 2011 based in Knottingley, West Yorkshire. We offer a wide range of products and aim to provide our customers with the best, highest quality service.
The brands we offer are the very best and are tried and tested by the Sportscover Altura Cycling Team, which includes the likes of John Tanner – 2x Olympian.
Such brands include;
Scott, Altura, Mavic, Bryton, Aszure, Oakley, Powerbar, Cateye, Camelback, Raleigh, Assos, Prologo, Fizik, Tifosi, Michelin, Jagwire, and lots more!
Not only do we sell bikes, we allow you to take away demo bikes for just £20 per day. This allows you to ‘try before you buy’, and make a decision on whether the bike is right for you.
In 2011 BBM Revolution Cycling Club was set up. In the clubs first year an astonishing 250 people signed up. The club prides itself on the ‘Cycling for All’ ethos with all abilities and ages joining. Membership fees start at just £20.00 for adults and £10.00 for U21’s. With this you get a number of benefits with BBM Bikes;
- A membership card to BBM Bikes which allows you to receive 10% off all products (non sale items)
- The option of Club Kit
BBM Bikes have a fully equipped workshop that is kitted out with the finest ‘Park Tool’ equipment. Our mechanics are Cytech approved and have years of experience in buildingand servicing all kinds of bikes, including Di2.
To book your bike(s) into our workshop you can either;
- Send us a message (on Facebook or by Email) with a full list of what needs doing. When we have confirmed the job and given you an estimated price, drop the bike off at the shop and leave it with the workshop.
- Call the shop for availability and an estimated price

If we find with any job that your bike needs a more thorough service or new parts, we will give you a call before any extra costs are added on.
What’s new at BBM Bikes?
BBM Bikes are now offering a Shimano Custom fit with every purchase of Shimano Shoes. The entire process takes about half an hour, by the end of which you will have one pair of custom fit shoes. The fit compared to before is incomparable – following the custom fit process the shoes feel more like a pair of comfortable slippers than a race-ready stiff-as-hell cycling shoe!
With every Bike purchase you will receive a ‘Bike Fit’ worth £50.00. Proper fitting ensures maximum comfort and a great ride with superior power/wattage. Anything less means riding with sore/numb hands and feet, and an uncomfortable back/shoulders due to the possibility that your saddle is too high and/or you are reaching too far/ not far enough.
